At Stephen Wade Truck Center, we have made it easy to find your car’s value. Simply use our trade in tool (link to scroll back to the tool) and the built-in appraisal process provided by our trusted partner-CARFAX, Exchange Express—to quickly input your vehicle’s information and instantly receive a value to your inbox. You will need the license plate number or VIN, make, model, year, and mileage of your car, truck, or SUV. Be sure to correctly reflect the condition the vehicle is currently in as this increases the appraisal’s accuracy.
Once you have found your car’s value a member of our staff will contact you to set up a time to bring your car to one of our seven dealerships here in southern Utah. Make sure to bring your registration and/or title for the vehicle.
Our appraisal team will inspect your car for dings, dents, scratches, tire-tread depth, and overall interior and exterior condition, as well as confirm the VIN and mileage.
If everything is in working order, they will then input this information into our nationally recognized vehicle appraisal tool. This software analyzes data from various reputable resources, such as National Automotive Dealer Association (NADA), Manheim Motors Retail (MMR), to calculate a fair market value for your vehicle.
Once this information is uploaded, our appraisal manager will take your car on a short drive around the block to verify its condition. If you have your title in hand, you can expect your check within 1-2 business days, possibly the same day. See dealer for details.
Selling to a dealership is the easiest way to get paid for your car. With the title in hand, you can expect a check within 1-2 business days and, when possible, the same day. See dealer for details. If you still have a loan on your car, Stephen Wade Auto Center will mail the check directly to your lender, so you don’t have to. Because we buy cars every day, we have the process down pat. It is no hassle for us to do the work so you can enjoy all that extra time you now have on your hands.
Yes, but we cannot write a check until we have your title or—if you have a loan—receive your title from your lender. See dealer for details. Your best option is torequest a new vehicle title from the Division of Motor Vehicles. Luckily, this process is simple. You just need to fill out the Application for Duplicate Utah Title and pay them a fee of $6.00. You can do this online at the Utah Motor Vehicle portal.
